The barrel roller bearings are manufactured with one or two rows of rollers fixed by bearing cages. The inner ring of such a bearing has one or two raceways, depending on the number of rows. The outer ring is provided with an internal spherical surface. This allows the outer ring to move relative to the axis of the product and compensate for sagging or skew of the working shaft. Single-row bearings of this type are excellently suitable for radial loads, and double-row bearings can also work with combined loads, but with a predomination of the radial ones.
